SWPR: Empowering Women
This year Sabrina Wottreng Public Relations (SWPR) has been dedicated to empowering women through mentorships, scholarships, and supporting organizations with missions aligned with ours. The following three nonprofits stood out to us this quarter:
Girls Who Code - Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does.
Malala Fund - Malala Fund invests in education activists and advocates who are driving solutions to barriers to girls’ education in their communities.
Girls Scouts - Girl Scouts prepares girls to empower themselves and promotes compassion, courage, confidence, character, leadership, entrepreneurship, and active citizenship through activities involving camping, community service, learning first aid, and earning badges by acquiring practical skills. Girl Scouts' achievements are recognized with various special awards, including the Girl Scout Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards. The Girl Scouts were a significant influence in our founder’s life where she earned The Gold Award.
We supported these because we were personally impacted and truly impressed with these organizations’ results. We are excited to continue our support of empowering women.
