Media Relations Efforts At A Glance

Press Releases

Sabrina Wottreng Public Relations works with Luxury Living Chicago Realty and its brokers to produce press releases ranging from announcing new marketing and leasing assignments to new hires to industry trends to firm research and data.

In 2021, Luxury Living Realty appeared in 27 different publications ranging from local to national outlets, a 10% increase from the previous year. Media outlets include Forbes, Bisnow, Chicago Tribune, Connect Media, REjournals, REbusiness Online, and many additional publications.

Bylined Articles

In 2021, Co-founders Amy and Aaron Galvin published four bylined articles. CEO Aaron Galvin is a member of the Forbes Business Council. Through this membership, he has the opportunity to contribute one article a month on Forbes.com. Aaron contributed a widely circulated article where he sheds light on changes in the luxury apartment industry caused by the pandemic, which included insights around community, technology, and what renters want. Chief Culture Officer Amy Galvin contributed bylined articles to Inman. Her subject matter focused on the professional world of brokerage and setting goals.

Awards

Awards campaigns are a priority to the firm. We worked with the team to draft and submit award nominations for both team members and the company. The award efforts resulted in 10 wins from “America’s Fastest Growing Companies” to “Best Covid Plan.” Notably, the Publicity Club of Chicago awarded Luxury Living Chicago Realty the Silver Trumpet Award for its COVID External Response and Multifamily Executive Magazine awarded Wolf Point East, Luxury Living Chicago Realty’s exclusive marketing and leasing assignment, with “Hi-Rise Development of the Year.”

Thought leadership and cross-marketing collaboration also landed Luxury Living Chicago Realty industry recognition. The firm was a PR Daily Content Marketing Awards finalist for “Content Marketing for the Purpose of Lead Generation” and “Thought Leadership Campaign.”

Events

Commercial real estate events are known to be pay-to-pay, meaning they typically require sponsorship to secure a speaking role at the event. We help our partners earn speaking engagements and negotiate steep discounts with the event production companies.

Pandemic-related concerns limited event participation for this year. However, we worked with the firm to plan, produce and execute the virtual Chicago Luxury Apartment Market Update, which was attended by over 300 professionals.

LinkedIn

Our agency manages LLCR’s LinkedIn account and produced 64 posts last year. We also assisted with 106 posts on Aaron Galvin and Amy Galvin’s individual accounts, securing their recognition as thought leaders. The company’s LinkedIn audience has grown by 787 followers in 2021.
