SWPR: Continuing Our Commitment to Empower Women
For the past few months, Sabrina Wottreng Public Relations (SWPR) has been working hard to find organizations making big changes in their communities while also helping to empower women.
The following three nonprofits stood out to us are:
Women's Earth and Climate Action Network (WECAN) International - Created to accelerate a global women's movement for the protection and defense of the Earth’s diverse ecosystems and communities. They focus on short-term and long-term systemic changes and solutions to address the climate crisis as well as the root causes of environmental degradation and socio-economic inequalities.
Humble Design - Changing lives and communities by custom designing and fully furnishing home interiors for individuals, families, and veterans emerging from homelessness. They assist in the transformation of lives in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego, and Seattle.
YWCA Kalamazoo - Striving to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. The longest-serving YWCA association in Michigan, YWCA Kalamazoo provides individuals and families with victim-focused counseling and advocacy services as well as shelter for survivors of violence, transitional housing, and legal services. They are leading the way for systematic change in their communities.
SWPR supports these organizations because we are impressed with their missions, passions, and results. We will continue to support the empowerment of women by donating to organizations missions that align with ours.
